Physical distance is not a good recipe for having a healthy relationship, but sometimes people don’t have a choice. A lack of a daily physical contact and commitment in remote relationships could force them to be dimmed and eventually lead to their ending. Each person in the relationship will get his own plant, which will be connected to a computer wirelessly. The flowerpot will be places inside the base station, which will contain a Water Pump, Grow Light, Water Container and Sensors.

Each time that one person will write an email to the other, their partner‘s plant will receive water and light. By integrating „Komila” into a (forming) remote relationship, it might be able to help avoid some obstacles and assists in obtaining a working long term relationships.
